We have had marvelous feedback from the many readers of A Dachshund’s Wish. The children were especially delightful. Their comments were endearing and reflected the way in which the book both teaches and inspires young minds. The book has also been warmly received by other groups, particularly the dachshund and German communities as well as pet lovers in general. Their deep knowledge of dachshunds lets them appreciate the subtleties of Paws’s life and the challenges for Jimmy in loving him. Finally, we found that other writers admired the story, the style and the art.
