For those of you who are interested in the origination of the name Traitor Dachshund Books, there is an explanation of it
in the summer 2004 issue of The Dachshund Friendship Club newsletter, along with a mention that the company’s
first publication is Julia and the Dream Maker, by P. J. Fischer.
Linda Purpura, publisher of Traitor Dachshund Books chose the name to honor Paws, her beloved dachshund.
"Although I know Paws loves me dearly he has been known to cast me aside for someone who offers him a treat,
" Purpura told The Dachshund Friendship Club. More information about the Dachshund Friendship Club can be found at www.dachshundfriendshipclub.com
